Brown has championed plans to diversify Michigan’s economy and put our residents back to work. She worked on a plan to convert the shuttered auto plant in Wixom into a cutting-edge alternative energy park where our workers will build the solar and advanced battery technologies of tomorrow. Brown has also worked to bring accountability to Lansing. She voted to dock lawmakers’ pay for missing session and to cut lawmakers’ pay –including her own – by 10 percent. She is also a strong proponent of a woman’s right to choose and will continue to fight any intrusion on those rights. As a mother of three children in our public schools, Brown understands the importance of education and is fighting hard to make sure our schools have the resources they need. A lifelong Oakland County resident, Brown is active in the community and a member of Adat Shalom. Lisa serves on the board of JARC, which provides services to people with disabilities.
