As your State Representative, Lisa will fight to create good-paying jobs for our workers by diversifying Michigan’s economy and attracting cutting-edge job-providers to our community. Lisa also will fight the outsourcing of our workers’ jobs that have left many of our working families struggling to make ends meet. By creating new jobs and protecting our workers, Lisa will help stop the foreclosure epidemic that is hurting our communities and help move Michigan forward.

Fighting for Affordable Health Care

As a dedicated community volunteer, Lisa has seen firsthand the damage that is done when people don’t have access to affordable health care. Lisa will work to ensure that all Michigan residents – especially our children and seniors – get the care they need to live full, healthy and happy lives.

Protecting Our Way of Life

Lisa will fight to protect our Great Lakes and beautiful green spaces by working to keep the flood of trash from Canada and other states out of Michigan landfills. Lisa will help protect our Great Lakes by standing up to million-dollar companies looking to ship our water out of state and sell it for a profit. Lisa will also work to safeguard a woman’s right to choose.

Strengthening Our Schools

Lisa will fight to ensure that our local schools get their fair share of state funding to help our students get a top-notch education. Lisa knows that a high-quality education is key to being successful in this global economy. Lisa also will work to make college affordable for every Michigan resident. By ensuring that our students get the best education possible, we can build the highly educated workforce that Michigan needs to attract new investment.
